SNAP or nutrition assistance benefits help individuals and families buy food they need. You can even grow your own food using SNAP benefits by buying seeds or plants. WIC families and seniors in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) have the opportunity to receive Farmers Market coupons with a total value of $30. The checks are for you to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs at a participating farmers market.
