The needs assessment describes the target population in terms of its economic and demographic profile, health, access to health care and health habits, as
well as the kind of social media and technology used and environmental factors that affect opportunities for healthy choices. All of this information is examined in the context of other programs to identify gaps and design strategies to address them.
